Description:Sometimes on the FaithWalk we act as though men control our destiny and not God. So we cut corners or look for an “edge”, even if it means compromising who we are. Abram models well the value of taking the high road. He let Lot choose first when it came to picking land, knowing that God would be the one to determine the blessing. His selflessness protected him, and God’s blessing remained upon him as a result. We’ll challenge our people in this message to trust God when they’re tempted to take fate into their own hands and act in ways that are less than His best.

Description:Like Abraham, we often sabotage our journey with God by giving in to fear. Fear depletes our faith. Fear causes us to compromise our convictions. Fear reveals our weaknesses. Every one of us has to face our fears...or else our FaithWalk is DONE before it’s hardly BEGUN! This message will focus on becoming aware of fear and its effects on our journey and finding faith to overcome.
